When a customer requests an “inbound transfer” to Redleg Firearms, it means that the customer has purchased a firearm elsewhere and wants their purchase shipped to Redleg Firearms. Redleg Firearms would then “receive” the transfer, log the firearm, process the required federal paperwork, and ensure that the buyer meets federal and state requirements before releasing the firearm to the buyer.
*Please allow about a business day for us to process your transfer.
Just because you receive a shipping notification that your transfer has been delivered does not mean that your transfer is ready to pick up. In addition to multiple transfers, we receive daily replenishment inventory that also has to be checked in. Please be patient.
Once your firearm has arrived and you have been notified:
When a customer requests an "outbound transfer" from Redleg Firearms, it means that the customer wants their firearm shipped from Redleg Firearms to a different FFL. Before any outbound transfer can begin, Redleg Firearms must have the chosen destination FFL on file. It is the customer's responsibility to place the receiving FFL in contact with Redleg Firearms in order for the two FFLs to exchange license information.
Note: The firearm that you are sending must be legal in the state where the firearm will be sent. (For example, some states or jurisdictions do not allow firearms with a magazine capacity exceeding 10 rounds. This means that Redleg Firearms cannot ship an AR rifle with a 30-round magazine to California; Redleg Firearms cannot send a pistol with a 17-Round magazine to Colorado for example.) Redleg Firearms cannot send a firearm to another state when that firearm violates that particular state’s law.
We reserve the right to adjust shipping fees in light of the shipping weight, e.g., it will cost more to ship a 100# firearm than it will to ship a 5# firearm.
Ammo cannot be shipped in same container as firearms.
